Old Habbo is becoming New...and we say farewell to the Big Hand.

Old Habbo is closing down soon as we start a fresh with New Habbo. Alas, the Big Hand will not be joining us during the transition. We wanted to do something special for the Big Hand, since she's been carrying our furni and joining our travels for many years now. For those familiar with Habbo.com since 2004, or Habbo worldwide since 2000...the Big Hand has been through an awful lot with us.

Show your appreciation by joining the Goodbye Big Hand group page and signing the guestbook! Those who join the group and give farewell will receive a memorial badge on Monday.

We'll also be hosting a Big Hand Memorial video competition this weekend only! Make a video in memory of the Big Hand, upload it to YouTube and e-mail it to us at competitions.us@sulake.com by Monday @ 9am PT. Don't forget to include your Habbo name with a full list of participants who helped (participants must be shown in video). The subject line should say 'Big Hand Memorial'. The top FIVE Habbos and their participants will receive the Brotherhood of the Big Hand badge and will be highlighted on the group page!

Since we'll be saying farewell to such an iconic part of Habbo, there's going to be some limited edition souvenir items to follow. It'll be available only for a very short time...never to be sold again. Be sure to lookout for their release. You won't want to miss it!
